Unsere erste Informations- und Vorbereitungsveranstaltung zu COIL für interessierte Lehrende Berliner Hochschulen in Zusammenarbeit mit dem BZHL.
In diesem 90-minütigen Online-Kurs erfahren Sie, was sich hinter dem COIL-Ansatz verbirgt und wie Sie Ihre Lehre auf niedrigschwellige und flexible Art und Weise digitalisieren und internationalisieren können.

Die TURN Conference ist eine von der Stiftung Innovation in der Hochschullehre (StIL) initiierte Tagungsreihe, die 2022 in Kiel ihren Auftakt bestritten hat und nun in Köln in die zweite Runde geht. Sie ist ein jährlicher Austauschort zum Lehren und Lernen an Hochschulen. TURN steht dabei für Perspektivwechsel, Mut zur Veränderung, Offenheit und Aufbruch.
Lösungen für transformative Lehre teilen – Die TURN Conference 2023 an der TH Köln ist als Produktlabor für mehr Transfer angelegt. In festen Zeitslots und unterstützt durch Schreibberater*innen und andere Expert*innen können Sie Ideen, Konzepte und Studien für die weitere Verbreitung und leichte Adaption durch Kolleg*innen weiterentwickeln. Deshalb ist es möglich, Beiträge ohne systematische Vorarbeiten (ideas), als auch Beiträge mit systematischen Vorarbeiten (drafts) und publikationsreife Beiträge einzureichen (publish). Der Transfer soll auch durch eine offene Lizensierung als OER erleichtert werden.
IVEC is the largest and most prominent event on Virtual Exchange, providing a forum for instructors, administrators, instructional designers, and educational leaders from institutions around the world interested in technology, international education, and new pedagogies. Virtual Exchange (also known as Collaborative Online International Learning – COIL, Globally Networked Learning, or Telecollaboration) extends authentic opportunities for intercultural and transnational learning to students within K-16 classrooms, as well as through co-curricular activities.
FAUBAI and UNESP will host the 4th International Virtual Exchange Conference (IVEC), which will be held in São Paulo (Brazil) in October 30 – November 1. We look forward to a great 2023 and to welcoming you to Brazil!

Almost all areas of study have international perspectives and diverse approaches that contribute to an opening up of perspectives and ways of thinking. Offering COIL activities of various lengths and manners to students in an international and intercultural class engages them in active and experiential online learning, helps them to develop their communication strategies, and contributes to their cultural awareness and networking. You will be able to contextualise COIL for your subject area, think about possible partners and set up the framework for your own practice.

A three-day event all about the future of higher education: University:Future Festival (U:FF) – Heads up! will take place from 26 to 28 April 2023 in the physical as well as in the digital space. The principle is: Digital first! The festival in all its diversity can only be experienced online. Physical stages at various locations in Germany will enable encounters and networking in person. The festival is bilingual in German and English.
