Moodle Quick & Easy: Changing the course format in your course

The course format feature in Moodle gives you the ability to customize the look of your course to suit your needs. In this Moodle Quick & Easy we would like to show you what options you have in the course format selection and how to set them.

To change the course format in your course, you must first go to the course settings. To do this, click on the gear in the upper right corner and select Edit settings in the Course administration area. There, under Course Format, you will now find all the options on how to adjust the format of the course.

You can find the following customization options here:

Format: Defines the layout of the course.

Hidden sections: Determines whether hidden sections are displayed in the course overview.

Course layout: Determines whether the course is displayed on one page or spread over several pages.
